Je leest vaker over rapid e-learning: snel te ontwikkelen e-learning die ook nog eens in korte tijd te bestuderen is. Tot nu toe ben ik deze vorm van e-learning voornamelijk tegen gekomen binnen bedrijven. Maar het artikel Online Tutorials Grab the Attention of Philadelphia U beschrijft nu ook voorbeelden van rapid e-learning in het hoger onderwijs.
Short and to the point is the idea behind Atomic Learning, a company that offers Web-based software tutorials for some 100 applications commonly used in higher education, ranging from Blackboard and Desire2Learn, to Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft Project, to Adobe Dreamweaver.(…). Each super-short tutorial ranges from less than 30 seconds to a few minutes, and features voice and on-screen explanations of specific software features.
Deze tutorials sluiten nauw aan op ‘de’ leerstijl van de net-generation. Het geleerde wordt overigens niet getoetst.
